Help Bryden, Young Aussie hit by a car in Budapest

Hey All,

This is my good friend and co-worker Bryden. A wonderful soul and all around top guy! He is currently on a working Holiday Visa in the UK and is a 22 year old Australian from Melbourne, living in London.

He was taking a well deserved short break after a hectic couple of months in the lead up to Christmas, working in the hospitality industry. Unfortunately today we received the horrific news that he had been hit by a car, and is currently in intensive care in the Hungarian Army Medical Centre.

After not hearing from him for a few days, we assumed he was having a blast. The news came from someone at his hostel, who luckily found us via a tagged photo on Facebook. As of now we really don't know any details. What we do know, is he is a young guy who left the country on his own, with only his flight & Hostel booked, and £200 to his name. He was just expecting a few days exploring somewhere new, and now this has happened!

As far as we can gather his injuries are not life threatening, but he is in intensive care, extremely confused, scared, and all alone.

Obviously he will need some time off work (how long we can't be sure of yet) but i've set a goal of his months salary. The cost of living is extremely high in London, and a setback like this could quickly put him in a really difficult situation, as his family are not in a position to help him.

I can't estimate accurately what the financial implications are, so for now we have set the goal at £2000 . This could turn out to be a drop in the ocean if he needs to pay medical bills,  but anything no matter how small will help his current situation. 

It would be great to be able to get him a ticket back to the UK (as he has now missed his returning flight),  and be able to cover his months rent for a start.
