Help Bryce Attend a Prestigious Choral Conducting Symposium!

Hello friends, family, and fellow music lovers,
My name is Bryce Rivera, and I am proud to share that I am graduating Summa Cum Laude with my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education! Over the past few years, I have dedicated myself to growing as a conductor, musician, and educator—committed to bringing powerful, inclusive, and meaningful music experiences to every ensemble I lead.
I’ve recently been selected to attend the Choral Conducting Symposium, an intensive and inspiring program designed to elevate the art of expressive and impactful choral leadership. This opportunity is more than just a workshop—it's a space where conductors like me will engage in:
Rehearsal techniques
African and African-American repertoire
Vocal technique and Dalcroze movement
Score study and social justice repertoire
Daily reading sessions of new works
A featured residency with composer Katerina Gimon
One of the most exciting aspects is the chance to conduct and receive professional video recordings for feedback—an invaluable resource for my continued development.
Here's where I need your help.
The program tuition is $1,300, and I also need to cover travel costs which is around $300 (flights, housing, and meals). As a recent graduate, this expense is difficult to take on alone—but with your support, I can fully embrace this opportunity.
If you’re able to contribute any amount—big or small—or even just share this with your network, you’d be helping me get one step closer to achieving my dream of becoming a world-class choral conductor. I am deeply grateful for your support and belief in the power of music.
Thank you for helping me turn this dream into reality.
With gratitude and music,
Bryce Rivera
