UPDATE: I just wanted to write in here a quick update on Bryce, he has surgery scheduled for Friday, Sept 26th and then a CT scan Tuesday, Sept 30th. Keep us in your thoughts and that his surgery is smooth!

My name is Alexandra and I am Bryce Akau's girlfriend, we're a blended family with 3 beautiful boys. Bryce is an amazing, kind and loving father who always puts his children above all else and selflessly steps up to help others in need.

Recently, Bryce has been diagnosed with Testicular cancer and has completely flipped our lives upside down. They always tell you to expect the unexpected but none of us could've seen this coming. I am currently out of work to focus on raising our sons and help cut the costs of childcare and fuel expenses but with his diagnosis, he will be out of work for at least a month if not more. With this also comes surgeries, possible chemo and radiation and lots of recovery all of which cost money out of pocket that we just don't have.

We are asking for donations or to share our story to help pay for these costs and household bills until Bryce is able to work again. I am currently looking for something part time to fill in where I can as I have to work around my oldest and our youngest child's needs/schedule but any little bit will help us.
