Help Bryce Afford Facial Feminization Surgery

Hi, my name is Bryce.  I'm a transgender woman approaching a momentous step in my transition. After an emotional coming-out in early 2019, I've learned to overcome my shame and am proud of the woman I am today.  A significant portion of my journey was spent receiving permanent facial hair removal via electrolysis, something that has cost me over $10,000. I am pleased to have concluded this portion of my journey, however my electrolysis has left me depleted financially and unable to fund the final portion of my medical transition — Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS).

There are parts of my face that continue to cause severe dysphoria and I'd like to address them with FFS. In Fall 2022 I hope to receive a Blepharoplasty to reduce my double eyelid as well as a Forehead Reduction Surgery to lower my hairline and appear more feminine. I'd like to receive these procedures from a surgeon specializing in FFS located in Toronto or Montreal. I am fundraising to cover at least half of the costs associated with these surgeries.

 

The total raised by this Gofundme will not cover my entire journey; however, it will lead to massive quality of life improvements as I financially prepare to complete my medical transition. Breakdown of Costs: 
- FFS - Forehead Reduction: $9000-11,000
- FFS - Blepharoplasty: $3000-$6000
- Travel - 300-400$
- 7 Days Accommodation (hotel + food):  $1500-1800
