On July 19th, Bryan's life took an unexpected turn when he was injured in a freak surfing accident while vacationing with family and friends in New Jersey. He suffered a fractured C1 vertebrae—a devastating injury that could have resulted in death or paralysis. By some miracle, Bryan has defied the odds and retained all function, but the road to recovery has been a roller coaster.

Bryan recently underwent surgery to stabilize his injury, but he’s not out of the woods just yet. The healing process will be long, and he continues to face uncertainties about his future health.
