I’m down to my last $70, and I need a little help to keep my home and care for my cat Amadeus while I fight to get back on my feet.
I never imagined I’d be in this position, but life has a way of humbling us. After seven months of unemployment and underemployment, I’ve been scraping by with freelance work—bringing in about $1,800 a month. Unfortunately, that isn’t enough to cover the basics: my mortgage, health insurance, utilities, phone, internet, and gas.
As of today, I’m at a breaking point. I’m doing everything I can to secure steady, full-time work, but I need help to bridge this gap—just to get through the next 30 to 60 days.
This isn’t easy to ask. It’s embarrassing, if I’m honest. But I believe in being upfront. Anything you can give will go directly toward:
• Keeping a roof over my head
• Covering essential bills (mortgage, insurance, utilities, internet, phone)
• Making sure Amadeus is fed and cared for
Even a small contribution makes a difference. If you can’t give, simply sharing this page with others would mean more than you know.
Thank you for your kindness and for helping me hold things together until I’m back on my feet.
