I've wanted a PlayStation system ever since I was a kid, and when the PS5 was introduced, I knew I had to have one. For years, I've asked my family to help me get one, but with how expensive life is these days, it's been tough to put money aside for something like that. I'm not usually the type to get myself gifts, so this has always felt out of reach.

Recently, I was lucky enough to play on my roommate's PS5 for a couple of months, and it quickly became the one thing that brought me happiness. Unfortunately, with my roommate moving out, I won't have access to it anymore. Having my own PS5 would mean so much to me—it would let me connect with friends I don't see often, give me a way to relieve stress, and bring some joy during difficult times. Being able to hop on the console and forget about everything bad happening in the world would be a huge comfort.
