I’ve been holding something back and debating, going back and forth, on whether or not to post this. It’s been weighing heavily on my heart, and I feel called to share.
One of my older brothers (Bryan) is going through an incredibly tough time, and I want to do something to bring him a little comfort this holiday season. Recently, while incarcerated, he was hospitalized for several days with tubes in his throat and head. He has since been transported back to jail, but his condition is worse than we all initially thought. My mom shared that he is now paralyzed with some movement in his legs and in a wheelchair. Still no updates on if he will be able to walk again physical therapy is definitely needed.
Before his incarceration, he was homeless and living on the streets. His charges are minor, and as hard as it is to say, he’s likely safer in jail than he is out there. Even so, I have so much faith and hope for him—and for anyone in similar situations.
I’m asking for prayers, not just for my brother but for the many others facing similar struggles. If you feel called to help, I’d love to send him some commissary money to remind him he’s loved and not forgotten. Even $1-$5 can make a difference in showing that he’s cared for.
If a donation isn’t possible, I’d still love to include a message of encouragement or uplifting words from you—anything to lift his spirit would mean so much. If you have questions, I can provide proof or more details—just message me.
Thank you for any prayers, love, or support you can offer. It truly means more than you know. ❤️
