Help Bryan Faris living expenses due to cancer

I don’t want to get into a pity party for myself. I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I had a surgery called resection and I was lucky not to need a colostomy bag which is what I feared the most. To my surprise, I am also severely anemic. I was admitted to Parkland Hospital after fainting and falling off a stage at work. They had to give me 7 units of blood which is roughly 21t pints over a 24-hour period. My white blood cell count was very high but the doctors could not find any infection. Eventually following an enormous amount of testing they discovered cancer in my colon. The testing also revealed renal failure and issues with my upper GI tract which will be tested for cancer as well. So I am just a mess! I am about to start chemotherapy with regular blood work and colonoscopies to monitor developments and try to beat this. For the foreseeable future, I am unable to work at the only skill I know. I am having to reinvent myself but I am flat broke. I don’t have any insurance because I’m an idiot. The doctors at Parkland are taking wonderful care of me. I need to renew my driver's license and to buy a car. Like others I lost everything due to lack of work because of Covid which I also had last October. I never ask for help due to my pride but I am now at my wit's end. I have applied for disability but that can be a crapshoot. I am behind on my rent and my apartment manager has been more than generous since I haven’t paid rent since January. I have applied for rent relief which, if approved, would pay my back rent which is approaching $8,550. I'm not looking for funds to pay that, I am just trying to fund my living expenses such as out-of-pocket meds, food and transportation. Uber has served me well. Honestly, any amount would be deeply appreciated. I never ask for help but I really need it this time. Your kind support would mean the world to me. Thank you for any contributions.
