Hi everyone,
This is not something I ever thought I would need to do, and Bryan will probably ask me to take this down when he sees this —but I’m doing this out of love for him and because we need help right now. We are not desolate but not sure what the future holds......
My husband has been unable to work very little for the past 4/5 weeks due to medical issues/nerve damage possible hairline fracture to his ankle, foot and he will be on Non–weight-bearing orders from Doctors due to foot nerve damage and on high dose Intensive steroid regimen until re-evaluated in another three weeks to determine the next steps. There is also a very strong possibility he may need surgery after that evaluation. Insurance is not covering a lot of his medical care, and the bills are adding up quickly.
While he is able to do a small amount of work from home, it doesn’t come close to what he would normally earn as a salesman. Between lost income and rapidly growing medical costs, we are struggling to keep up. We don’t need anything extravagant—we just need help covering medical bills and the income he has been unable to earn during this time.
My husband has spent so much of his life helping others. He has played benefits, volunteered, donated, and supported people in need without ever expecting anything in return. He took care of me for years through my cancer, and he has a heart that always puts others first. Asking for help for him feels strange because he is usually the one helping everyone else.
Despite everything going on, we’re taking this weekend to slow down, breathe, and celebrate our dear friend Kevin’s birthday. A short break from phones and stress is something we truly need and feel blessed to have, this will also hopefully prevent him from seeing it.
I love my husband so much, and he is in need right now—whether he wants to admit it or not. If you can help us in any way, even by sharing this, we are so deeply grateful. Every bit makes a difference.
Thank you for your kindness, your support, and for simply taking the time to read our story.
With love and gratitude, Nan.
