Help Bryan attend college this fall!
Donation protected
Bryan, a graduate of LAUSD's Jefferson High, interned in the Board District 4 office last summer. He blew us all away with his intelligence, tenacity, and positive spirit. He had been through a lot, but never let anything stand in the way of reaching his goal of graduating college.
When our office found out that Bryan was admitted to UC Santa Barbara, we were thrilled for him! But we soon found out that, because Bryan is an undocumented student, he has access to less financial aid, and NO money from the federal government. Despite the numerous scholarships he applied to and received, $3,000 still stood in the way of Bryan attending college in the fall.
There is no reason that Bryan's immigration status should stand in the way of him receiving a college degree. We have committed to helping Bryan raise the remaining funds to ensure he can attend UCSB in the fall. Will you pitch in to help send this amazing student to college?
