Help Bry Kick Cancer's Ass

Last week we received unexpected news that we would have never in a million years think we’d receive – let alone at just 28 years old. Our beloved Bryana Peia (Capizzi) was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple-Negative Metaplastic Breast Cancer - a very rare type of aggressive breast cancer that occurs in less than 1% of diagnoses.

 

As Bryana and her husband, Robert, have recently just begun a fresh chapter of their lives together – they have just completed building their dream home together and have been married for only 4 months upon receiving this devastating diagnosis.

 

Cancer has a way of affecting the most undeserving, and Bryana’s journey ahead includes aggressive chemotherapy and immunotherapy, radiation, and a bilateral mastectomy. Additionally, Bryana and Robert have always dreamed of starting a family soon, and will have to explore fertility preservation and the costs associated due to the nature of her treatment. We, as her family, want to exhaust every avenue to help her navigate these difficult times ahead. The cost and treatment for this type of cancer are exorbitant, and Bryana’s health insurance offers only basic coverage. They will soon run out of the financial resources they need to wage this battle, with an endless stream of new bills to come. We are dedicated to providing Bryana with the absolute best care, and with the great team of doctors here in Naples under the direction of Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa – we are confident she will prevail.

 

We are kindly asking for donations to help them with all the unexpected costs that they will incur on this journey. All donations will go towards medical costs to take some stress off of Rob and Bry.
