Brutus has been a loving part of our family for 12 years, joining his parent on every step of their journey as a travel pediatric nurse. He’s a gentle pit bull who has brought comfort and joy to everyone he meets, always ready with a wagging tail and a warm presence. Brutus has been by our side through countless moves and new assignments, making every place feel like home.

Recently, Brutus was diagnosed with cancer after an earlier mass on his hind leg was thought to be non-cancerous. This new diagnosis has been heartbreaking for us, especially since his age now prevents us from getting pet insurance to help with the costs. The surgery to remove the mass is urgent, and he’ll need three weeks of follow-up care to give him the best chance at recovery. We are now staying in the California Bay Area to support Brutus through this difficult time and help him heal.

The funds raised will go directly toward Brutus’s surgery and the necessary follow-up care.
