Hi all, my name is Alessandra, and I'm fundraising for my sweet dog, Bruno. Bruno is 3 years old and has been mine and my partner's loyal companion since she rescued him at 10 months old. Since then he's brought so much joy, comfort, and happiness to our lives. He's always been such a playful pup: he loves running in the park, car rides, greeting his people with kisses, and cuddling.

After going to the park, we noticed Bruno started limping and was having trouble getting up the stairs. Recently he was diagnosed with a torn ACL, an injury requiring surgery to repair his knee and prevent a torn meniscus. Now, seeing him in pain and unable to walk with ease breaks my heart. He can no longer run, and even sitting down is painful on his hind leg. Without this surgery, Bruno will be unable to live the happy, active life he deserves.

The surgery Bruno needs to repair his knee and prevent further damage costs around $3500, which is much more than we can manage alone. We know that Bruno counts on us to take care of him, so we are doing everything we can, but even after cutting our expenses and looking for second jobs, we aren't able to come up with the funds fast enough.

Bruno isn’t “just a dog” to us. He’s family. Through every hard time, he’s been there for us with his warm snuggles. We want to be there for him too. Every donation will go directly toward covering the surgery and follow-up care, helping Bruno heal and get back to doing what he loves most.
