I'm creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear friend and boss, Bruno Carlini, and his family. Bruno has been fighting through metastatic melanoma cancer for almost a decade by means of radiation therapy, numerous surgeries, and immunotherapy; this has recently spread to his brain, which has led him to continue getting treatment. Treatment, of course, is very expensive and taxing, not just financially, but mentally, among other things. Any contribution will help Bruno and his family focus on this ongoing battle without the financial burden that unfortunately comes with treatment.

Bruno has spent over 40 years in the medical setting helping patients with cancer. This includes being a radiation therapist, dosimetrist, and volunteering as a physical trainer for other cancer patients to motivate them as they go through this awful disease. He has touched the lives of many people and has spent a large portion of his life in service of others and lifting them up in times of need—we now have the opportunity to lend a hand to help lift him up in his time of need.

Anything is appreciated, whether it be thoughts, prayers, or financial support. Anything donated goes straight to Bruno Carlini and his family and will be used for treatment costs, transportation, and any related expenses.

A little more about Bruno:

Bruno was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma back in July of 2019. He initially had surgery followed by immunotherapy for a course of two years, which produced promising results. However, a PET scan 9 months later revealed that it had spread to his neck. He was then treated with immunotherapy again while additionally receiving radiation to his neck and axilla until December of 2022. Bruno has since been on a constant immunotherapy treatment regimen. It wasn't until recently that Bruno got the news that the cancer had spread to his brain, which has now led him to receive stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) in an effort to attack the cancer aggressively.

Even though he has faced so much hardship, he's still fighting to get better, get back to helping those with cancer, and get back to playing with his band!
