Hi everyone, as you may know my father passed away May 28, 2022. Bruce Bowden was a wonderful friend, father and so much more. He touched the lives of so many people in his 68 years on this Earth. My dad loved to hunt, fish and be around his family. Every year on opening day fishing for over 30 years my dad loved to go to Chatfield Hollow in Killingworth and spend the day fishing. For as long as I can remember, we would wake up at 2 am and get there by 3 am to start fishing sunrise to sunset. This was one of his favorite things to do and opening day fishing became a holiday for our family and many other friends who joined us every year. My family and friends have decided to hold a memorial service for my dad here this summer and get a memorial bench and tree placed and planted in his special spot he got for the past 30 years. Any donations or sharing of this GoFundMe would be greatly appreciated so my dad can be forever remembered.
