Help Bruce Troupe the Phone Man Dance with Cancer

Donation protected
My name is Niki Troupe, and I am trying to raise money for the Best person I know, my dad, Bruce Troupe. We are asking for help with hopefully six months of living expenses as he can no longer work, and they have no income until disability payments start up in June. Even then, they will be just scraping by.
On 11-11-22, my father went to the hospital thinking he was having a stroke to find out he had multiple brain lesions that had Metastasized causing brain swelling. This caused him to lose most of the strength on the left side of his body, along with some of his normal thinking functions. While this is starting to improve, we also discovered that the primary Cancer was coming from his left lung.
On 12-5-22, he was officially diagnosed with Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma of the Lung. This is terminal cancer. Most people diagnosed get 1-2 years to live. My Father has been blessed with 3-5, and while this news is absolutely heart-wrenching for my family, we could not be more grateful that we have been gifted with hopefully more time than most to spend with him.
My father plans not to die but live as much as he can for the remaining time given to him. In his own words, "I do not plan on fighting Cancer because in a fight someone has to lose; I would much rather dance with it as it will be a much more beautiful outcome for all."
Anyone who knows my Dad knows that he is one of the most giving souls one could meet. He and my mother have always had an open door policy to anyone they know for help or comfort of any kind. While they never had much to give they have always given anything they could. He has also spent most of his life working himself to the bone in order to keep his family afloat. He has been the only source of income as my mother has not been able to work for over 20 years because of a chronic pain disorder. To say their journey has been a strenuous road to walk would be an understatement. They have never really asked anyone for help, though and have always faced life with a grateful heart for what they did have, and we can get through this attitude. I must say it has been an honor and privilege to have two such fine examples of how a person should love others and keep their chin up no matter what.
I know 30,000 is a lot, but I do believe if everyone who has ever been helped in any way by my parents just donated a little of what they can we can give them the comfort of not having to worry about keeping a roof over their head on top of processing this sudden news.
Thank you all so much from my entire family for donating, sharing or anything else. Mainly thank you for loving my family so much through this time.
Sincerely, The Troupe Household
