Acct: teresa howard - Bruce
This is a true miracle puppy who survived spinal meningitis, bacterial infections with high fevers, and continues to thrive. With needed continued pet care. They still have not found out the cause and he is on continued vet care, trying to find answers for the little guy. They are starting to lean towards autoimmune but just not there yet.
Despite everything he has been through, he is incredibly sweet, loving, and full of joy. His gentle nature and wonderful personality shine through in everything he does. He loves people, brings happiness wherever he goes, and touches the hearts of everyone he meets. His resilience and spirit are truly inspiring, making him a very special puppy in every way.
Bruce says his journey is not over; he faces challenges that would have been difficult for anyone, yet he has never lost his heart or his desire to give love freely. His resilience, determination, and gentle nature are a testament to his strength and character. Rather than allowing hardships to define him, he has risen above them, growing into a dog who embodies perseverance and grace.
Let's keep him up in our prayers and help to support his ongoing medical needs.
Update Jan 8th: we have decided to go directly to the Specilist scheduled at OSU on the 22nd of Janaury.. Will post update after visit.....
Update Jan 6th: Bruce is currently on strong antibiotics they upset his tummy, and make him sluggish, but is being a trooper.
Spoke with the vet office yesterday.
Heis scheduled to go back in Jan 22nd for a followup and see if they have brought down his white blood cell count. If not they stated they would be referring him out to a specialist. We still dont know a cause... keep him in your prayers.
