My name is Bruce Gilley, I am a professor of politics and global affairs at Portland State University in Oregon. My good friend in Zimbabwe, Tendai Ruben Mbofana, has contacted me with an urgent micro-grant request: $300 to cover his unreimbursed transfer and vaccination costs to give a paper at the upcoming Africa Liberty Forum in Nairobi. Tendai is a critical voice of responsibility and good governance in Africa, as well as a fine person.
