Bruce has been my trusted handyman for nearly a decade, and right now, he really needs help. It all began in November when he developed a hand infection that worsened after receiving a steroid shot for pain at a Fast Care clinic. Unfortunately, combined with his diabetes, the infection spiraled out of control, putting his life in serious danger. After multiple visits to doctors, Bruce fell into a diabetic coma and was hospitalized for a month. During that time, he underwent at least 10 surgeries to treat the infection, which had spread through his entire hand and was climbing up his arm. The final surgeries included a skin graft from his leg to replace the lost skin.
Bruce has endured immense pain, but through it all, he’s grateful to be alive. However, his recovery is far from over. He still needs time to heal and physical therapy before he can return to work. On top of the mounting hospital bills, his car was stolen in December, which has only added to his struggles.
Bruce doesn't have insurance, and he needs support to get back on his feet. Please consider helping him during this difficult time.
