HELP BRUCE BULGER AND HIS FAMILY!

Hi my name is Joshua Merrill and I’m on here asking to help raise money for Bruce Bulger and his family. Bruce was recently diagnosed with Covid-19. The disease has taken a hold of him quickly and he was admitted to Rumford Hospital, but due to his steady decline he was sent to Central Maine Medical Center and admitted into the ICU. On November 25th he took a turn for the worst and and had to be placed on a ventilator which gives him a 50/50 shot to survive. He made it very clear to his doctor before he was placed on a ventilator that he wanted to fight this disease at all costs. On the morning of November 28th his condition took another downward turn and his kidneys began to fail and he has now been placed on dialysis.

Bruce Bulger is a huge part of the Rumford/Mexico community! He has been a bus driver and has worked for the school district for over 30 years. In his time as a bus driver he has become one of the primary drivers to bring the students to their games around the state for each sport. The coaches and students ALWAYS request Bruce and feel as though he is the lucky charm. He has attended most school events and is always seen on the sidelines cheering on the students for their games! It’s no surprise they choose him to perform most of the travel for sports events as he has won 2 state school bus championships throughout his career and even got the opportunity to compete at a national level.

He has been married for 34 years to his amazing wife Brenda Bulger. Together they have 3 children and a grandchild. He has pretty much been a father to his grandson Colton due to Coltons father not being in the picture. Both his daughters and his grandson reside with him.

The reason the money is so important is that he is the main source of income for the family. He has worked very hard his entire life to ensure his wife was able to raise and be home with his children. Without his income they don’t have much money coming in and they will need your help to get through this tough time. Bruce is a fighter and we pray he will pull through this endeavor, but his situation continues to worsen. I am asking the Rumford / Mexico community to please pull together in this families time of need and help me raise money to keep them a float while he fights for his life. I understand the time of year is rough with the holidays quickly approaching, but even if you are unable to donate please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers!
