On July 16th, my father, Bruce Cross, fell off a ladder while at work, which caused multiple neck and skull fractures, along with other various issues.

As of when this campaign goes live, Bruce has already been in the hospital for nearly two weeks, and there's a long road ahead of him on his road to recovery. Not only is the journey going to be difficult, but the financial burden of a situation like this is just as difficult to navigate.

For anyone donating to this campaign, the money goes to helping my father, my stepmother (Amy), and my little sister as they deal with all of the medical bills that come from a prolonged hospital stay, along with the amount of time my father won't be able to work in the weeks and months ahead.

This isn't the first challenging medical/financial issue that has hit our family in recent years either, as my father dealt with cancer back in 2021/2022. Just as that medical issue was finally put in the rearview mirror, this current one unfortunately popped up.

For those not from the area, my father was a Karate instructor for around three decades in Yarmouth, teaching hundreds of children and adults how to defend themselves and gain confidence in themselves. Unfortunately, life has thrown him a few medical curveballs this decade, but I'm hoping this GoFundMe will help.
