Help Bruce after dog attack

On the 16th of June my parents beautiful natured labrador, Bruce, was viciously  attacked by 2 dogs in his own yard. His body was covered in bites and had very deep wounds to his neck, narrowly missing major arteries, behind his front legs and back.  So far the vet bills have been quite high. We want to give Bruce the best chance to recover but with ongoing treatment it is becoming quite stressful for our parents. He is such a kind natured boy, who does not deserve to be in this position. A dog that could and would not hurt a fly, is worth every effort to be given a chance to recover. He has taken a beating physically and mentally but we hope he will be back to his old self again soon  Sorry the pictures are quite confronting but simply saying he was attacked doesnt come close to how badly  injured he was.
