Hi, my name is Jas and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest moments for my family and our beloved pet, Brownie.
Brownie has always been a loving, playful, and deeply cherished member of our family. Recently, he became very sick and stopped eating. At first, we thought it might just be a small stomach bug. But as the days passed, he continued to get worse. Brownie began vomiting constantly and was unable to keep any food down.
We rushed him to the vet, where he was initially treated with medications and sent home. We were hopeful that the treatment would help him recover, but unfortunately, he didn’t improve at all. When his symptoms continued and he became weaker, we took him back to the vet for further testing.
After additional exams and imaging, we received devastating news. Brownie has a foreign object obstruction, fluid in his abdomen, and significant inflammation. The vet told us that he needs urgent emergency surgery to remove the obstruction and give him a chance to recover.
The estimated cost for the surgery and treatment is $10-12k, which is far beyond what we can afford. We are doing everything we can to help Brownie, but we simply do not have the financial means to cover this life-saving procedure on our own.
Brownie means the world to us, and we are heartbroken seeing him in pain. We are asking for help from anyone who is able to support us during this difficult time. Any donation no matter how small, would go directly toward Brownie’s emergency surgery and medical care.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean so much to us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read Brownie’s story and for any support you can give. We just want to give him the chance to heal and come back home where he belongs.
