Help Brotherflower finish their Album

A message from Brotherflower…. AKA Jake Stigers and Gary Dillon and Bill Kelly.

 

As many of you know, Brotherflower was formed in 2009 and went dormant in 2017 until this past June, when Jake invited Gary and Bill to his hometown of Boise, Idaho to play 2 shows. We were immediately reminded of how special we feel this band is.

 

After the first show we decided we just had to make a record. We’d figure out how later. Then on gig #2 an angel appeared and generously supported us to bring us to this moment.  It was so encouraging and an absolute confirmation to us that it was the right thing to do, and the right time to do it.

 

So, in early November we went into Red Rock Studio in Stroudsburg, PA with Kent Heckman at the helm. We are so proud of the work we put into writing the songs - collectively and individually, the pre-production meetings, and what we captured on the microphones. We were also knocked out by the contributions that went above and beyond from Andy Hess on bass and Ethan Eubanks on drums and percussion, who brought their legendary talents, record making skills, and good vibes to our project. 

 

Today, we are excited to announce that we are midway through making the Brotherflower debut record!  We’ve begun mixing and are now in the planning phase for its release, promotion, touring, and submissions to the performing world of festivals, house concerts, and sundry of cool gigs.

 

Right after we finished the recording, we reunited again in Boise for 4 fantastic shows and decided it was an appropriate and good time to ask for help in the form of a GoFundMe campaign.

 

This GoFundMe for Brotherflower will go towards the cost of mixing and mastering the record, stand us up in the music industry machine, and allow us to venture forth. You’ll also be our beloved patrons who will receive updates and special gifts from us which will include this record when we’re done at the end of January. A pre order….

 

We have a little left in the kitty from our recent shows to keep going but we’ve run the numbers and $10k + is what we need to get to the finish line by January 31, 2024, and allow us to meet the festival submission deadlines and offset tour support costs.
