INTRODUCTION

My name is Brooks Gallinghouse. I'm a 22-year-old work-in-progress with Asperger's. My life might be complicated, but my passion is simple - I'm pursuing my independence through free-wheeling speech and creative storytelling.

My focus is my sci-fi fantasy graphic novel, Trade Of A Thousand Galaxies. Thanks to folks like you who believe in me, what started with a few hundred hours of random ideas, 300 pages of script writing, lots of doodling, and some conceptual illustrations is now the first chapter of my story and what I hope will be the next chapter of my life.

PROTOTYPE ISSUE PRESENTATION

Thanks largely to your investment, I'd like to present to you the end product. It's a 46-page, full-color, completely assembled issue (chapter).

At this juncture of the story, our main character and protagonist, Baylato, along with his colleague and best friend, Hurley, and the feisty stowaway thief, Tidna, pay a visit to Bobholo Tyk, the head banker of the Rogue Aristocracy.

There are two primary presentation elements,

a. the full issue flip book, and b. an excerpt of the issue in video form that we've placed music and voice-over on.

MY CORPORATE GOAL

This GoFundMe campaign can help me advance my goal of closing a deal with an internationally recognized comic publisher by the end of this year. A working relationship with an established publisher will help pave a credible path for the distribution of our story through comic retailers and to comic book readers, giving us a fair chance for the success of SquidBear Studio.
