My name is Brooklyn, and I am reaching out during a very serious and uncertain time in my life. I was forced to make the difficult decision to quit my job at Eden Day Spa after discovering drugs (cocaine ) in a treatment room that belonged to my boss, Alice. I worked for her for years, but her inability to run a spa has not only ruined me financially, but also created an unsafe environment for both staff and clients. As a sexual assault survivor who was assaulted when I first started massaging, these experiences have made my journey even more challenging and have deeply affected my sense of safety and trust.

Throughout my career, I have been the top requested employee at every place I have worked. My dedication to my clients and my craft is unwavering. In addition to massage therapy, I am trained in reiki and other holistic healing practices, and I have always strived to provide a safe, restorative space for those in need of healing. Now, with only a part-time job and mounting debt, I am struggling to make ends meet while trying to rebuild my life and career from the ground up.

I am seeking support to help me start my own independent massage practice. The funds raised will go toward purchasing a new massage table, forming an LLC, repairing my car so I can reach clients, paying down debt, and transforming my basement into a professional healing space.
