Hello, my name is Brooklyn Hudson. The two in the photos are my stepdaughter and my disabled husband! I really hate asking for help, but with being a one-income household due to health issues (and the government being shut down means the process of getting him on disability has also been shut down for the time being), I'm in a tough spot and setting aside all pride. I need help with our bills. I've tried asking everyone I could, and even doordashing, getting a second job, everything. I'm just one person, and I'm drowning in bills, and with Christmas coming up, I don't know how I'm going to make that happen. I have absolutely no money to put towards electric, I'm so behind on my phone and don't even have the money for the payment plan. And rent, I barely have that. I'll have no money for two weeks to make it back and forth to work, or even groceries. It's taking a lot to put pride to the side and ask for help.
