Let’s help Brooklin & Darren have a baby

Hi there. My name is Karissa and I have started this fundraiser for a very special friend, Brooklin & her awesome husband Darren Walker. Brooklin & Darren were happily married in 2017 with dreams of bringing children into the world. Unfortunately their journey has not been an easy one.

They have been trying to have a child for about 3 years now. They started off with medicated cycles really early on because Brooklin wasn’t able to get pregnant on her own. With the medical cycles, she was able to get pregnant three times but sadly, all 3 ended in early miscarriage.

Brooklin has now seen 4 different doctors and three leading up to their current one has told them everything is “normal” and “looks great” and there should be no reason why they shouldn’t be getting pregnant. However, 3 years later and they are still trying and waiting.

They have done 5 rounds of IUI (intrauterine insemination) and each one has failed. They have finally moved forward in their journey to start the process of IVF with a new fertility clinic however, as I’m sure you know, the cost of IVF is significantly high. I am hoping with this GoFundMe, we are able to lighten the load for them which I also hope will lesson the stress.

Watching Brooklin and Darren go through this journey is both heart breaking yet also so so inspiring. Even through the immense pain, you see them cling to faith and hope and share the truth behind the struggles for anyone who might also be experiencing a similar journey.

They remain so positive and optimistic despite the trials they face. If you are able to give anything at all to support their dream of having a baby, I know they would be beyond grateful! And if you could keep them in your prayers, that would truly mean the world!
