Help Brooke Recover from Flood Damage

On the morning of January 12th, 2025, Brooke woke up to what she thought was going to be a great Sunday. However, moments into getting out of bed, Brooke noticed that there was water dripping from her ceiling and down her walls from the unit above. As she looked around, she noticed her belongings looking damp. As she investigated more, she realized everything was wet. Her records, clothing, furniture, electronics, etc., were all wet and either damaged or destroyed by the water.

Brooke called her landlord and left a voicemail explaining how the new upstairs tenant flooded her apartment and she was concerned about her ceiling beginning to cave in. This is when Brooke noticed the large amounts of mold growing, once hidden by the walls.

No communication has come from her landlord, leaving Brooke stranded and unsure of what to do.
