On Sunday, March 5, Brooke lost control of the car she was driving and hit the cement divider on the I-95 in West Palm Beach, Florida. The car lit on fire and thankfully she managed to crawl away. Brooke was the only one in the car at the time of the accident and no other cars were involved.
She recently started her own small business and was in between health insurance. Since the accident, she has not been able to work and has been focused on her recovery.
Brooke suffered two broken ankles, a broken left arm, a broken nose, a broken cheekbone, and a concussion, among other injuries. She has had three surgeries already and is awaiting one more surgery on her left leg.
There have been numerous expenses, including travel and hotel for her mother who rushed to Florida from California to be by her side. After the surgeries, Brooke has to get back home and go through Physical Therapy to learn how to walk again. It will be a long road to recovery and anything you can contribute is appreciated.
