I’m Brooke, a rising senior from Florida majoring in Legal Communication with a Sociology minor. Throughout the school year I held down jobs by working in the school bookstore and babysitting amazing kids, yet I’ve maintained a 3.65 GPA along with being an active member of organizations such as Black Women in Pre-Law (BWPL) and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) etc. I received scholarships and have taken out student loans; the maximum allotted to me as a Junior. Unfortunately they were not enough to cover all of my tuition and I’m left with a balance of $32,000 remaining as the school year ends. A product of a hard working single mother, who assists me financially along with my loving maternal and paternal grandparents, my remaining balance has left me wondering if I will be able to continue my education at Howard University or any university for that matter. As a result, I'm asking for your financial support to clear the remaining balance. Your generous donation will help me close out my junior year at the illustrious Howard University. This will allow me to enter my senior year debt free, graduate, move on to law school, and obtain my own practice where I’ll pay it forward to deserving students that may be faced with challenges that I’ve faced while seeking a higher education.
