Help Brooke and Baby Through a Tough Time

I am fundraising for the Herzberg family. I have known Brooke since 2018. We met when we worked together at Mary Greeley as PCTs. Now we work together again as nurses at McFarland Clinic.

Brooke has a history of kidney disease and this has made her second pregnancy difficult. On July 28th, Brooke was admitted to Mary Greeley with a dangerously high blood pressure. She had become severely preeclamptic and was sent by ambulance to University of Iowa. She has been admitted there since, and will stay there until the baby is born. As long as she and the baby remain stable, her delivery will be on October 7th. The baby will have to be in the NICU after birth for an undetermined amount of time due to him being premature.

Being so far away from home, she has been separated from her husband Tucker, almost 2-year-old daughter Isla, and both of their families. This has been very difficult for all of them. Thankfully, they get to visit her on the weekends!

Donations to the Herzberg family will go toward medical bills (hospital stay, birth, NICU stay) and help with living expenses for Tucker and Isla while Brooke is out of work.
