Please support us while we mourn our son Bronx

We have always known before Bronx was born, he was going to have such a journey ahead. We struggled with our decision at first but soon realized Bronx was our miracle baby. Doctors told us there would be a high possibility he wouldn’t survive but through the grace of God Bronx spent 50 days in NICU before coming home with us.

Without getting into great detail, Bronx was born with a very complex Congenital Heart Condition that would require him to get a heart transplant at some point in life. Sadly, we didn’t know it would be this soon.

Bronx was emitted to the hospital on 4/7 and placed on the priority list for a heart transplant. We have been given a wait time of 6-8mths. Our son’s heart took a turn for the worse on 4/23 and has now had to have 2 emergency heart surgeries back to back.

Bronx is currently on ECMO ( a life support device) trying to recover and get his new heart assist device that will optimize his time to wait for his new heart to arrive.

While going through all of this, We are currently expecting our second child and have to remain strong for both of our children. This has been the roughest experience in Bronx life to date. But he is a fighter. At only 18mths old, he remains resilient. We ask for your continued prayers and support for our family at this time.
