Help Bronx Family Recover from Devastating 5 Alarm Fire

On January 10th, 2024, around 1:45 AM, while everyone was asleep, a five-alarm fire broke out on the 6th floor of 2910 Wallace Avenue in the Bronx. Three apartments in the building were home to my family members, including my mother, my aunt, her 12-year-old son, my cousin, her husband, and their 7-year-old son. The apartments were completely consumed by the flames, and they lost everything. Thankfully, no one was injured.

With the assistance of the Red Cross, they have been placed in a temporary shelter. During this difficult time, we are reaching out to family and friends for support in any way possible. The funds raised through this campaign will help cover necessities such as food, clothing, and securing a new place to live. El 10 de enero de 2024, alrededor de la 1:45 AM, mientras todos dormían, se desató un incendio de cinco alarmas en el sexto piso del 2910 de la Avenida Wallace en el Bronx. Tres apartamentos en el edificio eran hogar de mis familiares, incluyendo a mi madre, mi tía, su hijo de 12 años, mi prima, su esposo y su hijo de 7 años.
