Neal "Bronson" Herrmuth

Hi, my name is Jo, and my husband, Joe, and I have been friends with "Bronson" Herrmuth for over 45 years.

As you may have heard, Bronson was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung and brain cancer. He is currently undergoing immediate treatment at Summit Hospital in Hermitage, TN.

God has a plan, and so does Bronson.

Bronson is a great guy who is always willing to help his friends out wherever he can. He joins in with other musicians for benefits and helps families out when anyone is in need. Whether it be playing at a wedding, a funeral (heck, there may have even been a gig in there somewhere for a divorce?

He has also enjoyed playing at Glencliff United Methodist Church, where he is a member of the congregation, or teaching seniors how to play the harmonica at the University, he is always there to lend a hand.

Now, he needs us to help him. If you know him, you know he would never ask for help, but right now, he needs us all to send good vibes, lots of prayers, and whatever else good juju you choose to believe in.

He needs BIG help, and he needs it NOW!

Bronson recently retired from his daytime gig with the Census Bureau after several years. Up until this very recent diagnosis, he had still been performing his music out and about Nashville and was booking upcoming dates solo and with fellow friends and songwriters all over the state, as well as cross-country and even planning possible dates abroad in the coming months.

Along with that, he and The Ozone Rambler crew are set to be inducted into the Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Clear Lake, IA, in September of this year.

Right now, all of that is obviously canceled or pending. As of right now, he has no income to sustain himself and his wife, Angie. This is why I've started this GoFundMe. I knew he would never ask for help for himself. At times like these, the last thing you should be worrying about while trying to fight this damned disease is your financial situation. Am I right?

Please consider donating whatever you can financially. Please donate spiritually, heavily, and often, too. Anything is greatly appreciated. No donation is too small. He will have no way to earn for himself and his family. The medical bills will be enormous, as I'm sure you're all aware. We've all been touched by this deadly disease, whether we've had it ourselves or it has affected our family or friends. None of us are immune.
