Sweet baby Brody was born with a congenital heart defect and has already shown incredible strength in his short time with us. His journey is just beginning, and while his spirit is strong, he has already been through multiple surgeries and a very prolonged hospital stay. While he continues to fight bravely, with an upcoming GI surgery, followed by a heart surgery and admission, the road ahead comes with many challenges—especially mounting medical bills.

Brody’s mom, Abby, a devoted teacher, is now facing the tough reality of returning to work this August so Brody can remain on her health insurance. His dad, John, has been working full-time but has already needed to take off many days for Brody’s surgeries and hospital stay— and as Brody continues to need specialized care, they’ll need extra support with childcare and daily needs.

The growing medical bills, combined with time away from work and the need for ongoing care, have created a heavy financial strain. We’re hoping to ease some of that burden so Abby and John can focus on what matters most: helping Brody heal and thrive.
