Brody is my American pocket bully, and he’s truly a special dog. I rescued him from a difficult situation where he was living with another dog that became food aggressive and bit him in the face. The previous owners weren’t going to seek treatment, so I took Brody to the vet myself. After his initial treatment, I cared for him around the clock—feeding him wet food by hand and making sure he felt safe and loved every moment.

Recently, Brody’s health took a turn for the worse. He’s now bleeding internally, and I have no idea what’s wrong. The vet needs a deposit just to see him and figure out what’s happening, but I simply don’t have the funds right now. I’ve reached out to every resource I can find in Louisville, but I haven’t been able to get the help Brody needs. He’s a wonderful boy who just wants love, belly scratches, and, when he’s feeling well, lots of treats. I would do anything for this dog—he is my boy and means the world to me.
