Help Brody & Briggs in their battle with Batten disease

Hi, as most of y’all know Brody our 3 year old was diagnosed with epilepsy late last year. He doesn’t communicate very well, so he’s unable to tell us how he feels, what he hears, what he sees, etc etc. He had his first seizure at the pumpkin patch, which was devastating. Brody is having multiple seizures a day at this time & unfortunately despite his medications we don’t have seizure control. He is experiencing every type of seizure.
Brandon and I don’t ask for help, and anyone who knows us, knows this is true. But, we need y’all’s help. We are in contact with medical mutts to get a service dog for Brody. This dog will be trained in their facility and will be able to help us in alerting for a seizure. The wait is 6months to a year. We are desperate for help, not only for Brody, but also for us.
As you can imagine this has taken a toll on all of us. Having an extra set of “eyes” will help tremendously, not only physically, but mentally for us as well. This has been the hardest thing we’ve ever had to endure. Getting him the help he deserves and needs is always our top priority.
We are incredibly grateful for ANY help from y’all.
Continued prayers for our guy are always appreciated
our go fund me was started in hopes of getting a service dog for Brody. Y’all made that happen for us! We ended up having to switch companies as the first one wasn’t communicating or showing up for training sessions. The new company has been great, but $3k more than planned.
Shortly after we got the diagnosis of Brody. Our needs changed, but training Quinn has still been a priority. A few months later, we got the diagnosis of Briggs, and again, our financial needs changed. We rely on my husband financially and the traveling/wear on the car with taking off work has been stressful.
We are appreciative of anything. Thank y’all so much!
