Hello.

If you know me, you know I love dogs, and one in particular is my whole life, Brodie. I’m not one to ask for help, I actually hate to, but sometimes it’s needed. I’m not sure what March has against me, buts it’s been a rollercoaster. Brodie was born with an overbite, it was never an issue. A little over a week ago, we woke up, and his snout was super swollen, so I rushed him to the ER, and he was treated as an allergic reaction. Swelling went down, he started acting a little more normal, etc. I then had a vet appt with my regular vet, and we set up Xrays for 3/15, which were cancelled due to the vet being sick. So, 3/16, Brodie started shaking really bad, eyes were glazy, very lethargic, and had blood coming out of his nose… back to the ER, and this time he was out under for X-RAYS and other testing. Ended up being, his bottom canine tooth went through the roof of his mouth into his nasal cavity causing a serious infection, and ended up being septic today, 3/17. He goes in tomorrow to have a bottom canine tooth removed. Please pray for my baby!

needless to say, after tomorrow, and over $3,000 later, I’m hoping this all comes to an end, and my boy gets back to his normal self. Any little bit will help. I appreciate everyone that has been following Brodies health recently, you guys are awesome!

UPDATE 3/20 - since his surgery 2 days ago, he was taken to the ER yesterday because his eye swelled almost completely shut, and was covered in Hives. Ended up being allergic to one of the antibiotics. 

He was treated with 2 shots, and cleared up. He just got some more hives this evening, but no swelling. Just gave him a benedryl and hoping it’s cleared up in the morning!
