Help Brodie Kick Some Tail!

In early October, our sweet Brodie started to have headaches and vomiting. Maia took him to the doctor who ordered an MRI of his head.  The results showed a mass in his brain, so he was transferred to a nearby Children's Hospital.  They did surgery the following day to remove the tumor and sent it for pathology.  It turns out that the tumor was cancerous.  Brodie is now healing very nicely from his brain surgery and will soon begin chemo and radiation treatments.  We do not know for how long or how often he will need the treatment, they will figure that out in a few days.  The tumor was a medulloblastoma, one of the most common types of tumors in children.  He has a fight ahead of him, but he is such a strong, healthy, and stubborn child that we are positive he will kick some tail!  Maia will not be able to work, however, during his treatments, and so we would like to lessen her financial burden during this trying time.  Please help if you can so they can travel to treatments while continuing to make ends meet.  If you can't help financially, any positive thoughts and love you can send their way will help greatly!  We will continue posting updates as Maia is comfortable with, and if you want to help in other ways we'll let you know what they need as it comes up.
