Hi, my name is Corey Altman, and I am attempting to raise funds for my dog, Brock. I adopted Brock back in July of 2016, and he's been with me ever since. He has been the perfect dog. Seriously. He was so gentle with my 11-year-old son when he was a baby, and they've grown up together. He surprisingly doesn't beg for table food, and he listens when commanded. We've never had to correct him on anything. A literal angel.
Recently, we have moved into a new house, and upon arrival, he lost grip on the hardwood and pulled a disk in his spine. He still has the drive to be playful, eat, and he wants to go up the stairs SO BADLY, and it breaks my heart to see him like this.
The vet has recommended physical therapy because of his age; surgery would be risky. The physical therapy that was recommended is an "Underwater Treadmill" therapy, which looks like it will surely help Brock gain his mobility back. Unfortunately, with getting to this point with the vet, and my lovely girlfriend having a life-or-death medical event in February, we are maxed out on our CareCredit card.
The visits are approximately $150 per session, and they've recommended a weekly visit. That rounds up to $600 a month. What some people would spend for a shiny new BMW, I am trying to wrangle it together for the goodest boy in the world.
I am putting my pride aside and simply asking the world to help me help my baby boy.
Thank you so much for your consideration.
