HELP BRIANA KICK CANCER

Donation protected
Hi all, my husband’s cousin was recently hospitalized and diagnosed with stage 3 Colorectal cancer. That is something that a 30 year old wife and mother of four does not want to hear. Bre and her husband Justin, are the proud parents of Cosmo age 8, Rhiannon age 5, Sapphire age 3 and Donovan age 1. OMG, they are the sweetest kids ever! Their little personalities are all so unique with beautiful little values and beliefs that are a definite reflection of their parents!
Unfortunately, there is a genetic condition called Lynch’s syndrome that is inherited from your parents (in this case her Dad, who also had colo-rectal cancer and won!). Having these defective genes in your gene pool makes it more likely that certain cancers will occur. Briana,’s cancer is called adenocarcinoma. Course of treatment for Bre will be 12 rounds of FOLFOX chemotherapy every other week along with immunotherapy. FOLFOX is a combination therapy of three drugs. These three combined are designed specifically to target this tumor.
Already there has been push back from her insurance company regarding covering the cost of the immunotherapy drug. Immunotherapy drugs are designed to alert your immune system about the mutated cancer cells, which in turn alerts the chemotherapy to better locate and destroy the cancer cells. Boy, let’s thank our higher power for cutting edge treatments! Her insurance company is refusing to pay for this, even though her doctor believes the drug will give her the very best chance of a forever future!
Briana has been a stay at home mother, while also studying hard to get her RN degree. Justin, Briana,‘s husband, has been her rock (along with her mom and dad). Her studies have been placed on hold at this time until this battle is won.
Briana,‘s port was placed this past Wednesday and is scheduled for her very first round of 12 chemotherapy treatments this upcoming Wednesday, 4/24/24.
Please consider donating to help pay for her many medical bills that will be forthcoming along with other miscellaneous/unexpected expenses. Health insurance is of the utmost importance for all, but the out-of-pocket expenses can swallow you up! Every little bit helps. If you are unable to donate at this time, please pray and send good vibes/energy to Briana and her family. Pass this along to other members in your community. Thanks.
