Our friend and family needs our help! The words no mom, brother or sister wants to hear - the results are back...he has Hodgkin's Lymphoma. As we all know, the medical bills will increase with each visit, test and procedure. The family will go down Monday to meet with his doctor, he has to have more lab work, another Covid test, an echocardiogram and a PET scan. Then Wednesday they go back for surgery to place a central Line and they are admitting him for 3-4 days, and will start treatment Wednesday or Thursday. They only admit inpatient for the first cycle to monitor for reactions. The cocktail of choice includes 4 different drugs. They are planning 5-6 cycles to start and then possibly radiation.

The family as you imagine is overwhelmed. I know my friends have prayer chains that go on for days and big hearts to help in any way they can. The family needs to make plans as a friend I need to do my part to take away the burden of how to finance Britton's care needs. They have been placed on the waiting list for the Ronald McDonald house, but its a waiting list. In the mean time hotels are the only option. It peak season in Charleston....

I need my prayer warriors to unite and my friends to give what they can to help this boy fight for life! No child should have to face this, but he has an army of angels on his side to help him through!
