Help Brittany's Family Recovery from House Fire
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Brittany Roberts, I am a single mother of four boys. On April 1st the house we are living in fell victim to an electrical fire that destroyed mine and my children’s room and engulfed the entirety of my Family’s home with smoke. Thankfully no one was injured in the fire, but the damage to the home has made it unlivable.
We are a blended family totaling 8 members (yes that is sizable): my cousin, her husband, her son, and me and my boys. My cousin graciously opened up her home to me and my boys in our time of need. We moved halfway across the country last year and we have been living together while we get back up on our feet. I’ve been working as a school bus driver and trying to follow my passion of being an artist. My cousin’s son has autism and the house catching on fire has been very traumatic for him because he has a difficult time being in an unfamiliar place without his comforts.
All money donated will be used to repair our home and replace the furniture, clothes, food, toys, and art supplies that were lost from fire/smoke/water damage in addition to pay for temporary housing until enough repairs are done for the house to be livable.
Any amount of money you’re willing to contribute is greatly appreciated by myself and our family, and if you are unable to contribute at this time, please share our story with those you know and other people in your community. We sincerely appreciate you taking a moment of your time to read our story and assist our family in any way you can.
Thank you!
