In the very early morning on Thanksgiving, Brittany and her children experienced a devastating house fire that changed their lives in an instant. Thankfully, no one was home when the fire broke out, but the loss was total—everything they owned was destroyed. As a full-time nursing student at Midway University, Brittany has worked tirelessly to provide for her family and pursue her dream of helping others. Now, she faces the unimaginable challenge of rebuilding their lives from scratch, all while continuing her education without the laptop she relied on for her studies.
Brittany and her children are in urgent need of support. They need help with clothing, toys, food, daily essentials, toiletries, and assistance making Christmas special for the kids despite these difficult circumstances. Some of their most needed items include size 11 women’s shoes (tennis shoes or comfortable work shoes), burgundy scrubs (medium), bras (34B), panties (medium), size 11 (or next size up) toddler shoes, and size 5 boys shoes. For the children, the youngest boy needs 4T winter clothing, and the oldest son needs size 16/husky or small men’s clothing. Every donation will go directly toward helping them find stability, replace what was lost, and give Brittany the tools she needs to keep moving forward in her nursing program.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Brittany and her family during this difficult time, especially when the holidays are hard for most. Your kindness and generosity mean more than words can express, and every bit of help brings them closer to a fresh start.
