In 2022, Brittany was diagnosed with mucinous breast cancer and DCIS with microinvasion. Despite the diagnosis, she pushed through with incredible strength and perseverance —working full-time as a nurse and completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, all while going through 20 painful rounds of radiation and a lumpectomy.

Now, just a few years later, she faces breast cancer for a second time (DCIS and lymph node invasive ductal carcinoma with mucinous characteristics). Her fight will be even harder, as her treatment plan includes a double mastectomy and chemotherapy. And this time, she’s also a mother with a baby who needs her love and care.

Brittany has given so much to her patients, friends, and her family. She is the kind of person who shows up for everyone else—but now she needs our support.
