Help Brittany Stene Overcome Amputation Expenses

Hi everyone, I’m Tim Stene, proud father of Brittany Stene and I’m asking you to share her story.
In 2008 our beautiful daughter, Brittany, was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma bone cancer. Chemotherapy was rough and there were times she wanted to give up. Luckily, she was blessed with an amazing team of doctors and surgeons, who by God's grace, were able to save her life. She was given an entirely new rebuilt leg and kicked cancer's ass. She blew everyone's expectations out of the water with her ability to walk and dance freely without restraint.
Unfortunately, the past 12 years have been extremely hard for her with multiple complications with her reconstructed leg. While we are incredibly blessed that Brittany has remained cancer free, she has had an extremely challenging road since. 17 surgeries in all. With infections continuing to resurface and hardware continuing to fail, she is now left with no other option than an above the knee leg amputation at the age of 32. Surgery is scheduled for June 16th, 2025.
This resilient young woman has endured more in the last 17 years than most of us will in a lifetime. Along this journey she has asked nothing of anyone except your prayers. While I ask for your prayers once again, I’m also trying to relieve her of the financial burden associated with this surgery and recovery. While I know she has the mental fortitude to take on this lifestyle change, I’m praying we, together, can relieve the worry of unpaid medical expenses. Your contribution will go toward the surgery, hospital stay, c-leg prosthetic, custom wheelchair, vehicle conversion and extended unpaid time off from work.
I close with Brittany’s favorite bible verse which she has leaned on through the years. And yes, she is strong!
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
