If you didn't already know, on Tuesday, while Brittany and her roommate were at work, their house caught on fire. Their bedrooms took the brunt of the fire, smoke and water. Lots of water. 

It's too early to tell what all the damage is, but we do know her new bed has gone to a watery grave. (it's not a water bed, do they still even make those?). To me, your bed is one of the most important things. To Brittany, it is an essential tool for her health.  Brittany was diagnosed with Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) 6 years ago and has had two separate surgeries to fuse two battery packs to her spine to help combat the pain.  CRPS leaves her in constant state of pain, along with the rheumatoid arthritis and scoliosis in her spine.  Brittany purchased a new Sleep Number mattress last year and for the first time in almost a decade, she found she could sleep easier (and by easier I mean 3-4 hrs of sleep at night) because of the adjustable mattress and frame. 

So I am putting this together to raise money for her to get a new bed. I know that a new bed seems so trivial compared to what her house went through and what others are going through at the moment, but just knowing she will be able to buy a new bed when the time comes will ease her stress a little.  Thank you to all who have offered their help and support in this stressful time.
