I am a single mother doing everything I can to care for my daughter Nova, but right now we are facing more than I can handle alone. After five years at my job, I had to leave because of verbal and emotional abuse from my manager. Around the same time, I was in a serious car accident that left me in constant pain and unable to work as much as I need to. With no financial help from family, I am falling behind on bills and struggling to keep up with daily expenses. My car has broken down, making it impossible to look for a new job or get Nova to her appointments.

On top of everything else, our home is in urgent need of repairs. We have old, leaking pipes, a broken shower, and two toilets that don’t work. Some of our electrical outlets are going bad, our roof is leaking, and our basement floods when it rains. These problems make it even harder to keep Nova safe and comfortable, and I worry every day about how to fix them while trying to catch up on bills.

Nova is only 11, and she’s been sick every day. She has ongoing stomach pain and other health problems that doctors haven’t been able to diagnose, even after multiple visits and tests. She can’t attend school in person and we’re having trouble with her cyber school enrollment. It breaks my heart to see her suffering and not be able to give her the stability and care she deserves.

I am overwhelmed and scared, but I have hope that with a little help, we can get back on our feet. The funds from this fundraiser will go toward urgent bills, car repairs, medical expenses, basic necessities like food and household supplies, and critical home repairs. I am not someone who likes to ask for help, but I don’t know what else to do. If you are able to support us, your kindness would mean the world to me and Nova.
